Assets Under Management (AUM) is the total market value of all the money a mutual fund scheme or asset management company (AMC) manages on behalf of investors. It indicates the fund's size and, indirectly, investor trust.
Example
A fund with ₹25,000 crore AUM manages that total across all its investors' units.
